Our story started with a bamboo towel. It was so soft and absorbent we fell in love.
We decided to research bamboo textiles and look into selling our own towels along
with our organic Shea Butter. We tried selling at home shows and festivals but at first
were not successful. Still believing in the ideal of sustainability and that bamboo fabric
made the best towel on the market, we pressed on. After adding bamboo t-shirts and
socks, people began to embrace the soft luxurious feel that only bamboo can offer.
We opened the Bamboo Home Store in Grass Valley, California in 2009 with, not only our
wonderful towels, but also clothing, bedding, bath and beauty products, kitchen accessories
and home goods.

Bamboo Home Store was started with the simple desire and passion to create a retail
environment that sells products made only of bamboo, while creating a buying experience
that is interactive and engaging. We always put our customers first, along with practicing
noble profitability. We do this because of our deep-rooted passion for the feel of bamboo
fabric. Its positive qualities, combined with moisture wicking and all of the other appli-
cations make it one of the most versatile and sustainable eco-luxuries in the world.
